I agree on terminology. I do the same thing. They are just completely different as far as fishing goes.

I was glad to see Mark Pace address this important issue. Unfortunately it only highlighted the fact that there are no easy answers... if there is an answer at all. Bottomline: We've just got to all figure out how to get along. emoAngel

The negativity of that article kind of grinds my gears. I can’t even count the number of Sundays I’ve had to fight to get to church because of some Ironman or bike race. These are events sponsored by our city and supported by hundreds of city workers, including our police force enforcing these inconveniences. Fishing tournaments have far less negative impact on me. It’s true I fish a small number of club tourneys, but I’ve never had a problem going out to fish. I say scrap Ironman and bring FLW to Chattanooga. At least I could take my kids to church without having to beg the police to let me use a city street.
