Billy, we tried a 26 TXP which is more like a 27. It doesnt run quite as good on my boat as the Tempest. I still think your motor feels a little soft though. Lets try my Tempest and then we will know.

ok first thing you want to do is throw that prop in the garbage and get u a good chopper or an et cut prop then set you motor .250 above the pad thats center of nose cone and bottom of pad i would try a 26 pitch prop then gps the boat then put it on the trailer raise it another click run it see what the gps says if you gain speed go up again keep going up until you loose speed or you loose water pressure wanna run about 15 to 18 on water pressure no less than 15 i live in cleveland i can help set up if needed
