Ram Mount Question

Well thanks for all the tips!! I am going out shortly to try it out and what better day for it.. If it holds up in these conditions I should be pretty good to go.. I keep going back to the limits for this size mount, its rated for 10lbs and the HDS 8 isnt even half that.. Only time will tell.. Again thanks for all your help and input.

Well I went out and gave it a good work out today and everything worked perfectly!! The unit didnt budge... I have to say I am going to love this HDS 8 and the side scan. I had a LMS522C and no side scan now I have the 8 with Side Scan.. What a difference.. Now I just need to learn how to use it to its potential!!
