All of the major weather forecasts for Friday have strong storms, heavy winds, hail and tornado warnings starting between 1-2PM on Friday afternoon.

The last thing I want is to get someone hurt or killed due to bad weather. We won't call it off yet but will wait until around noon tomorrow. If the forecast and doppler are still showing the heavy storms heading toward us Friday afternoon I will make the announcement that it will be postponed until April 17th.

Please check back around 1:pM tomorrow for an announcement. I will post the announcement on CFF and on the Ratmanbass.com website. I really hope it misses us.

Darn! It is not looking good for this evening. :( Polo would you please throw out those three four pounders I put in your crappie bucket. Looks like I won't be needing them. emoPoke (JK) I am going to have every tournament angler around here looking in that bucket. emoLaugh

I think it looks like a cancel, lighting and thunder right now outside here at my house and I live about 2 miles from the wolf. emoAngry I was looking forward to this one this evening. Keep us posted. emoThumbsup Jmax

Lets fish it tomorrow night.. :) Doesn't look good today, for sure, but our area is unpredictable at times.

Great minds work togather and sometimes so do ours. emoBigsmile I was thinking the same thing. What about just changing it to a tournament tomorrow. There does not seem to be much going on that is posted? emoToast Jmax

Some of are fishing out of town tournaments tomorrow. I'm on Neely Henry and FishingBen is on Guntersville. Neither one of us would be able to make it to the ramp by blastoff. Next Friday seems like a better plan.

Just my 2 cents.

I was just spouting out Jim. I cant see it either on a Saturday.

If it does get canceled tonight...your safe for next week. I cant fish it due to my CBA job. Its a pretty big evening preparing for CBA tournaments. I missed the last one due to work.

I've got an engagement tomorrow evening ... then next Friday evening, I should be stepping off of a 747 on the tarmac in Hawaii... don't think I'll make it next week (or the next one)... darn emoRolleyes emoDoh emoTongue

The one thing I would worry about weather its storming or not, is the 30+ mph winds that are supposed to be around. Imagine that on the main lake.

I am still waiting and hoping this storm will turn a different direction. I will make an official call at 1:pM.

Hey popeyedpete I think the dogfight for tomorrow will be the best bet the way they are talking about the weather for this afternoon. The last thing we would want is to endanger one of our fellow fishermen or women.
