I have just bought a new reel and have tried to use it one time and it cast great, but when you reel it in it feels like it is getting stuck the it is ok the starts again. Any ideas on what it might be or how to get it fixed or should I take it back? I do not have a receipt on it I dont think so I am not sure what to do about it on the return end. Any help will be appreciated.

sorry, I dont know about that reel. You are covered by the 1 year equipment warranty. The thing about ball bearings is that if it is a low tolerance bearing the balls may wedge in the bearing and retainer ring. It could have been dropped as ball bearings cannot take much shock force. I could be that this small amount of lubrication that some reels have is not sufficient. It doesnt make sence in a manufacturing context to be mopping up lubrication and to have lubrication soil the packaging.

even without a receipt Josh they should exchange it for the exact same thing you just wont get a refund.. otherwise like r14 said call Pfluger
