River Park Ramp

Our club had a tournament yesterday out of River Park. We were told by the River Park Saturday Tournaments that you have to reserve the park in advance. We only had 5 boats that let us launch. It seems to get harder each year to have a local tournament!</p>

The CFF reserved our Tx dates last year. We reserved one date for this year in March for a day Tx. but another date that we wanted was in June for a night Tx. and it was declined. They said they were not going to allow any Tx.s out of the River Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day. They needed the ramp and parking for OTHER boaters!? So I guess that us FISHERMAN that pay state and county taxes that fund the River Park, the Rangers and the boat ramp just doesn't matter to them for some reason? I do not understand why the selective discrimination in choosing one boater over another? How do you justify banning one group of boaters to make room for another group of boaters? It's like Walmart saying they will not allow any pick up trucks to park in their parking lot so they can make more room for cars!

A lot of construction going on over there
