Time to thin the herd again. First up is a great flipping stick. It's an Airrus Ultra XL, 7'6 heavy action. Retails for $159, it's barely been used and I'll take $110.

In keeping with the AiRRUS tradition of innovation, performance and quality, we are pleased to introduce the all new ULTRA XL. Designed around customer and Staff feed back, ULTRA is loaded with features and benefits typically found on custom rods at much higher prices. A newly tooled split reel seat and the absence of a fore grip on our casting models affords maximum exposure of the rod blank for the ultimate in rod sensitivity. With the exception of the pistol model each ULTRA comes with an additional butt section, which is three inches longer and is instantly interchangeable for two handed casting or improved leverage. Each removable butt section features a small nylon cap that can be removed weight might be necessary to bring your ULTRA into perfect balance.

ULTRA also introduces "THERMALON", a re- engineered Hypalon with improved insulation for cold conditions, that still provides the comfortable yet sensitive grip you have come to expect in an AiRRUS rod. All rods have Fuji fold down hookeepers, Alconite guides at "Concept" spacing and rubberized cork butt caps for limited hang ups on clothing. Designed with the serious angler in mind ULTRA represents the ultimate in fine attention to detail, craftsmanship and performance you have come to expect from AiRRUS. For the ultimate in fishing experiences give an ULTRA XL a try, you'll be glad you did.

The next rod is an 8 foot ML crankbait rod by Airrus. It was under the Sirrus name but just purchased last year. It retails for $115.95 and I'll take $60 for it.
The Co-MATRiX 457 provides a well balanced combination of power, sensitivity and performance in one award winning series of rods. Truely innovative, each Co-MATRiX rod evolves from the integration of two separate and distinctively different manufacturing processes. Filament winding, which is used in the lower section of the rod to provide maximim hook set and castability and our proprietary Multi Modulus tip section, designed to provide the ultimate combination of lure presentation, rod control and sensitivity.
Also featured on each Co-MATRiX rod is our superbly designed "Comfort Grip" which combines Hypalon and high quality Portuguese cork into what has been said to be the most comfortable grip ever to grace a fishing rod. A removeable Nylon cap allows weight to be added to the butt for precise balancing to ones personal specifications. Sensitivity is kicked up a notch through the use of Fuji Hardloy guides at "Concept" spacing. Add a Fuji ECSM graphite filled Nylon 6 reel seat and you have a rod to be reckoned with by any fish that swims.
