Rook, Chesterfrost and Chick, Small mouth, spot and large mouth, 4-17-10, CB1340

CB1340 and I met up early this morning at Chesterfrost to catch a few bass. The bass seemed a little sluggish with their strike this a.m. and just kinda tasted the shaky head instead of hitting it. Also tried some crank baits to no avail, finesse baits seemed to be the ticket today. CB1340 did pretty well pulled in a several nice spots and large mouth, I had had 2 decent ones I reeled in and 3 or 4 that I just barely lipped and they got away. Slowed down and started to rain so we decided to reconvene later today. Hit up Chickamauga Lake this evening. Again, CB1340 did really well pulled in some nice ones on a Shaky head. I didn't have so much as a nibble...Rat-L-Traps, shaky heads, money minnow etc. Then when is started to get dark it happened. Got a lunker of a smallie. All in all it was a good day. Hope too go again soon.
