Anybody know of anything on saturday night? Or would anybody like to get something started?

Nobody wants to fish? There is bound to be somebody. I have a few people that want to fish. We have everything we would need, scales etc. We were thinking 7 to 12 or maybe 7 to 2. Anybody want to try and do something?

You start it and it will go over well. I would suggest 7 to 2.
We use to fish the Tri state on Friday and go to Grasshopper and fish it on Saturday night. To my knowledge there hasn't been a Saturday night Tx down here in a long time besides the CBA.

I say we all just fish like Ram Jack...24/7 :)

I'm not fishing too many dogfights this year but would love to fish one on Saturday nights. I would volunteer to run one but cant commit 100%

I would also suggest that if one gets going...do a 100 percent payout and bring it out of Chesterfrost Park....You'll draw a better crowd.

I know we have a lot of "vicks" I mean Dog fights on the lake but very very few night Tx.

Daystime is for cutting the grass the night is for f fishing!!!

CFP Friday and or Saturday would go over well!!

Okay, lets giive it a try. My buddy Terry is a perfectionist. Hes has already bought pro model scales, sink, basket, everything we need. I say we fish 7 until 2. 15 green and 18 brown, with a 5 fish limit. How about $25 a boat and $5 big fish. June 6 is the CBA the next weekend is the 13th, how does that sound for the first one? How about some input on payouts. This should give us plenty of time to organize everything and have a great time. If everyone wants there are enough of us where we can do it every Saturday. Who knows maybe even a classic. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks, Boone

With hotter weather around the corner, why not a 3 fish limit. Would be interesting on conpetitive weight ins too. Summer fishing and uneducated, even educated anglers puts a toll on fish.

Just a suggestion.... ;)

Almost forgot about location. I am getting a bunch of PMs about Harrison Bay. I think they have the best facility. What do you gys think?

From the facility standpoint, CFP is much better than harrison bay with the CBA stand that has tables, sinks, lights, etc. with the lake is immediately behind the stand. I also think 3 fish would be much more competative and the opportunity for dead fish would be reduced with a 3 fish vs. 5 fish. During the summer, tx's are extremely stressful on these fish therfore I think fisherman should consider the fishery we do have and make every effort to maintain the quality of fish we have IMO....... I hope a saturday night tx does start up with 100% payback and entry fees at a reasonable rate.....

What TNDOE said. I think the 3 fish also would make it VERY close and competitive not to mention a slight strain off our fishery being there are so many dogfights out there.

The problem with Chester Frost is myself , Terry, Matt, and a couple of others live on the wrong side of the river. Unfortunately several of us work on Saturday and get off at 6PM. Harrison Bay or wolftever is just more practical as far as time goes. We might be able to rotate if that would be better for the event. As for the payback it WILL BE 100% PAYBACK PERIOD. We just want to fish on Saturday night without going to Watts Bar. Please keep up the input, we are open to ideas. I just think we could have a great event with an awesome turn out. I would like to finalize the first event ASAP, so keep the ideas coming. Thanks, Boone

I would love to have some night tx, im not to good at finding fish during the day so i dont waste my money on day tx. I think more people would attend if it was out of CFP, but with harrison just up river it shouldnt be no problem. you can always put in at hbsp and drive to cfp or vice versa.

would it help to start it 8-2 instead of 7-2, that would still give 6 hours. That is what use to come out of HBSP several years ago and it was fun to fish.

Agree 100% ! emoThumbsup

Unless I'm fishing a day tournament, all my fishing will be on Friday and Saturday nights through September. Might as well donate my money to someone so I'll be fishing a few. I like the 3 fish limit idea.
