Like JMAX my step-son and I hit Chick way early Monday had one of our best days ever. I've been tied up refinishing wood floors lately so this was a welcome break from that. Our first few came shallow (2-4 feet) around weeds on dark green GY senko and black and chartruse GY kreatures. Once it was light the red shad lizard seemed to be the ticket. By then we were fishing shoreline blowdowns with deep dropoffs. By noon we were done. This was my personal best day of bass fishing EVER, and my first breakthru fishing soft plastics; however, I'm a mere mortal and after reading JMAX's report there's just no doggone way I'm gonna embarrass myself by bringing up numbers. Suffice it to say that after the dawg days it was great to have a productive day, and I'm proud to finally have the plastics dialed in.
