Ok, the 357 base is 425.00. The 357 Deluxe with the 4 inch monitor and stand is $995. The Deluxe package with the upgrade to a 7 inch monitor is $1,195. And this H2 is water resistant and has the automatic lock feature. Do you still get the stand and monitor? If so is that the 4 inch or 7 inch monitor? I assume that the package is $1299 with the 4 inch monitor. So if we want the 7 inch unit is that approximately another $200 upcharge making the package $1,500?

Patrick, I found the web page for these things. I Don't think we can get the H2 "package". With the stand and the 4 inch monitor as I see it is $1,699.00! With the 7 inch monitor it's at $1,899.00 if I read this correctly. That would be nice but that's a lot of money that I don't think we have!? I would rather have the 357 deluxe "package" with the 7 inch monitor for $1,199.00. About the only difference is the water resistance feature and the hold motion filter. The 357 Deluxe package with the 4 inch monitor is $995.00 then you upgrade to the 7 inch monitor for another $200.00. In reading the description of the two packages I'm not sure that the 357 Deluxe doesn't have some type of hold motion feature too? It says that when the weight is displayed that you actually have to clear the display for the next weigh bag. Can't we get some type of cover for the display unit if it rained? Or maybe we could just put Steven over there with a pretty frilly umbrella. Wouldn't that work just as well? Surely we can get a clear plastic covering of some sort if we needed to for the table display but what about the stand up monitor? Is it water resistant? I don't see where it says either way. That would be another good question for the Rep. But as for now I would go with the 357 Deluxe package with the up grade 7 inch monitor for $1199.00.

Fellows I think that Patrick and I have come to a reasonable solution to this scales dilemma. We THINK we have made a corporate, managerial decision and even saved us some money. If we purchase the H2 system for $1,200.00 that is water resistant and has the motion lock feature meaning that if the fish were jumping around in the basket the scales will lock in on the correct weight regardless. And all of you know how great that would be as we all have been standing there waiting for the fish to calm down to get a correct and accurate reading. That would also mean that poor 'ol Steven wouldn't have to hold an umbrella over the scales if it rained. Steven was drafted or nominated for that responsibility because he is our newest committee member and for now is referred to now as the FNG. That stands for the "f@#king new guy" in case you weren't aware. So he would be relieved of that duty and could be used for other responsibilities elsewhere. Then we think we can get a small computer monitor as our stand up monitor which would be much larger than the monitors that they want to sell us. Patrick thinks he can get one of those screens a lot less than the 4 or 7 inch screens that they want about $200.00 for. Possibly less than $75.00.Then we can buy a stand for it to go on separately. I think I could even go buy a music stand and mount the monitor on it to serve our purpose. Patrick thinks that we could even possible attach a lap top and printer to show continuous standings and then print out the standings at the weigh in! Now that's way to technical for me but we will see. But wouldn't that be a great thing for the weigh in's? Patrick still has some more checking to do on this but we are making progress I think? We will know more in a few days.

Sounds good to me. But if it came down to me holding an umbrella. I'd make oldman hold it wearing nothing but some black leather chaps and a choker and Hillary nipple stickers lol
