We got out for a short trip this evening to see what was going on at one of our spots we usually fish. The bite was really slow but we had several small fish hitting from time to time. Joe caught a blue in the 15 LB range and around 30 minutes later I look over to see my line heading away from the boat. I hooked a feisty 36 LB blue that thought he weighed 50 LB. Caught both fish on cut skipjack in 40 fow and both were released.
