I bought a 1989 Ranger 363v Bass Master Classic with a Johnson GT 150HP on back. Already got baby girl on it!!! I wish it wasnt going to be so windy tomorrow so I can take her out. Since Im somewhat of a noob when it comes to driving boats, im to scared to go out. Especially after that post with the picture of those boats at Guntersville today. No thank you to that one.

Any suggestions as to what to name her? My kayak's name is Yakkity Yak. Haha.

Congrats on the boat-looks really clean! More so-what a sweetheart of a girl!
I'd name her Dragfish!
Above all, being new to boating, I'd say learn the water (channels, shallows and safety rules)

Congrats!!!! emoApplause Jmax

(That boat type brings back some really good memories for me. I have fished out of a couple of those with that same set up and motor. That was a top of the line rig back in "89", good looking boat to be 25 years old. emoThumbsup )

Congrats. Your patience found you a very nice first boat. It will be nice the first half of the week, would be a good time to take it out.

NICE RIDE, MONEY PIT MIGHT BE A GOOD NAME AS YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT...LOL

Im glad my wife isnt a member of this site. Because if she read that, she would kill me. Little does she know I need a cover, life jackets, and most likely a couple batteries. Haha

Thanks guys. Im super pumped! I really wanted an 89 or older Ranger because of the glass transom. Super glad I found this one. And the guy I bought it from was as stand up a guy as I have met. I went to get it this morning about 2 hours away in Gadsden, AL. When I was about 30 min out I get a call saying I need to be back at Ringgold because we were going to try to play our JV game today (we have a tarp on our field so infield stays dry). He also had to drive about an hour to meet. So I apologized profusely and asked if we can try again tomorrow. He was busy except for around 8am. My JV game gets cancelled (DUH) and I tell him I may borrow a truck to go get it (i dont have one yet, will soon) now. But truck was an hour in opposite direction and I REALLY didnt wanna drive a total of like 7 hours to do this. He offered to bring it to me and he parked it right in my driveway. Im glad there are still people like that, that are willing to go out of their way to help someone.

wooooo weeeeee thats a purty thang right there. you gonna take the team out for a test run ? haha just kidding. me and bones are going fishing tomorrow.

Use a good bit of caution as you learn about boat handling and safety. You've got a young one to teach in a few years! emoThumbsup
