Mike and I went fun fishing on a Saturday. What were we thinking ? Started shallow, 57-7 fow, Mike catches two shorts on a Senko. I tried Pop-R, brush hog and Bandit 100 with no success. The Bandit caught a few sprigs, or came through clean. Moved to a flat that should have grass, it did, but not very tall. No fish. Moved again, deeper water , near a drop to 20'. Nothing. Another move. Tried a point, leading to 5-10 fow, missed a couple. Next stop, Mike catches three on "c"rig, spot, a 4.5 - 5 largie, and another keeper. Catch last fish in the park, 8-9', wrapped in the weeds. About a 3#, with 8# of weeds wrapped around it, on a brush hog. Quit for the day. Water was almost 90 when we trailered. Did have a little side bet with a couple of guys in our club fishing. Lunch, loser buys. We won, suggested Ruth Chris, ended at Jack's.
