I was worried my little small mouth buddies might have washed away in all this rain.Glad to see they are OK. they will crush a top water bug right now.Lots of action with this nice fishing weather.
Check out the old Fenwick ff756 fly rod.Still a great rod to fish with.
I left the small mouth to see what was going on at another location
and the fish were very active.
Caught a variety. Lots of fun

is that a blue and chartreuse crankbait in the rocks in the first picture

shing ,I did not see that until you mentioned it.I enlarged the pic to get a closer look and it looks like a crankbait to me.
Not mine,but I would have picked it up if I had noticed it.

I wish we had more fly rod reports. It's so fun and relaxing. I'm sure that old Fenwick rod has caught a lot of fish. I still have a True Temper 805 fly rod with a South Bend Oren-O-Matic automatic reel that I used...45 years ago. Great memories.
