Anyone ever think that it isn’t bad here, because we are sheltering in place? Read some history about pandemics, those who survive distance themselves from the disease.

Have you looked at wal mart or the grocery store .Not much sheltering with the shortened hours .

Some of that maybe because many busineses are closed and no other options...but after our community got the news of an outbreak here many people have not left their homes in three weeks. Many order delivery or are just cleaning out their freezer. Some People going to Wal Mart probably haven't heard ...

based on the numbers as of yesterday for Hamilton Co. you have a .00032 chance of being infected if you live in Hamilton Co. If you are "high risk" or scared, you should stay home. I work in outside sales and deal with hundreds of folks every week all over the state and points beyond. I have asked everyone if they have any close family or friends that have tested positive. Not one immediate family member or close friend. There were a couple "aunts" and "buddies parents" I heard about. I dont believe its a hoax, I believe it can be deadly, but I dont believe an infection rate of 3/1000 should cause us to push small businesses over the edge. I guess my point is; Ive not seen anyone suffering from C19, but I have seen A LOT of small business owners suffering first hand.

Very good point churly, it seems the risks there is currently very small...and it has been really hard on small businesses. I guess 25 liters of oxygen yesterday for a relatively young man in an attempt to breathe has tainted my views..perhaps if things go better in the next few days
