Snake Rescue

Buddy the Beagle showed me a snake at the water garden.

Turned out it was not one but a pair of four foot rat snakes who had gotten hopelessly entangled crawling thru the bird netting around my water garden. These are very docile snakes and both waited patiently as I snipped through the netting to free them.

Good vid. How long do black snakes normally get? I once saw two mating on the side of elder mountain and they both were big round as coke cans and were at the least ten foot long..
