I got my motors swapped over and hooked up. Now i want to check the alarms. What is the best way to check the low oil pressure alarm, low water alarm and the high temp alarm.

Also I had a brain fart while taking off the carb. cover and screwed all the "Idle air fuel mixture" screws out. I richened them back up but cant find the factory settings online anywhere. Dose anyone here have a manual that coveres a 1994 Johnson 200 Venom?

sorry I couldn`t get to you last nite....storm knocked out phone and surge protector....finally got it jury rigged up now
looking in my manual the only adjustable on the carb is the idle mixture and it shows 5 turns to start the adjustment process
mark the spot after setting the 5 turns.
engine must have back pressure on exhaust to properly adjust...boat in water and engine in neutral trim....level I guess.
idle till warm then run in forward gear for 3 minutes
if too lean engine will sneeze and backfire...turn counterclockwise 1/8 turn and wait 15 seconds
if too rich engine will be rough and unsteady...turn clockwise 1/8 and wait 15 seconds
says to run it near full throttle for 3 minutes and return to idle in gear and it should maintain smooth idle
this is per shop manual
good luck and hopefully you just turned the one carb....

Thanks guys, And i wished i had only turned 1 of them Snuffy but i turned all of them out. I talked to a Johnson mechanic and he said 3 1/4-3 1/2 turns from seat. If your manual says 5 turns to start them I am rich. I would rather be rich than lean. I am taking it to the lake tomorrow to try it out. I got it running great on the hose here at the shop and hopefully it will do the same on the water.

Thanks again,
