DHaun, I have witnessed that before. You feel like choking someone.

TritonCarl is right, those guys that were weighing their fish that day at Mud Creek were in the way of people trying to get on the trailer, very rude.

We can talk about it until were blue in the face but, it will never change. People are going to be people no matter where they are, what they are doing, or where they are from. People only watch out for themselves now days.emoBang

Hey Tarheel, when I took my buddy to the chick he couldn't even crank the boat, then he couldn't even get the trolling motor in to the water. These crazy people trying to fish. LOL emoLaugh

Ok smart alecks. Sheesh. Both of you own Tritions, so it has to be something with the boats. Yup, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Actually, it cranked the first time that I tried it, but it didn't stay on. Oh well. You live and learn. emoBang emoEnforce

"Somet(h)ing that I have noticed" is that after reading all of this, according to tarheel and t4b, nwgabassmaster is 100% qualified to have started this thread. emoIdea

Wow! I did not notice that. He did start this thread and man did it ever "Backfire" on him. That is a classic to be remembered. Can we put this in the HOF, Threads division?

I learned ramp etiquitte from my dear old Dad (RIP) many years ago, and well before I owned my first boat. Everyone has problems and challenges when starting out, but the discussion in this thread is right on...don't take the cover off at the top of the ramp.

If fishermen are generally anything at all, it's patient and optimistic. Have patience with the new guys and be optimistic that they will get faster. NOTHING can make you tolerate the inconsiderate, whether at the ramp or on the water.

Even as a neophyte, I recently gave a guy with a brand new boat his first lesson on how to trailer his boat, as well as how and where to prepare it for the road.

I think that John is a pretty good sport and I believe that I am going to give him another chance to put in on the trailer.emoToast What does everybody think? What he lacks in boat skills, he more than makes up in fishing skills.emoFish

emoUpsmile ...and you guys think I'm a nut????? Got a good laugh this morning looking this over. Ngm just remember when they(us) start giving you a little h#*l you are now one of the official guys of the forum.emoLaugh Jmax

JMax, coming from you, makes me feel good. emoGrouphug Tarheel, you can ask T4B, my loading skills aren't bad...........errr, at least I hope he agrees with that. I haven't tried to knock any moss off of his trailer, going sideways, at least. emoLaugh

Well, I'll let you be the one to make yourself look dumb! But I will give you this, you can fish i guess, and yea you done alright loading the boat, after you learnt how to crank it that is! emoUpsmile If it wasn't for our harsh constructive criticism , your post wouldn't have been soooo HOT! emoBigsmile
