I can bring my Little Sister with Big Brothers and Big Sisters ... she has never fished before and would be a great 1st time fishing experience.

Here's her pic ... her name is Katie!

Oh TT, that was underhanded! Not fair! I don't have a cute picture to beg with. All of my grandchildren are ugly (not true, but it sounds good!). Anyway, I've got dibbs. He asked to go catfishin' with me and so he owes me. And it's not really true that I push the kids out of the way at the Aquarium either - well, maybe just that ONE kid!

emoEek ERICM!!!!! I would never use such dirty tricks as to try and persuade anyone to take that cute duck holding rookie fishing girlie based on a picture alone. She told me she wanted to save her chore $$$ and get own fishing pole that she could fish with. Now ... who can resist taking an 8 year old fishing with an attitude like that!??! She will be 9 on the 15th of April .. wouldn't a productive fishing trip be a primo gift????

Aaargggh! Next you'll play the "When" card and how that worked (or didn't) for you! I yield!! Man, what a trip that would be for her! emoSmile

Nice fish, I caught one like that yesterday, but it looked a good bit healthier than that one. She weighed in at 6.12 and looked awful skinny to be such a big fish. That one you have sure looks bigger than 2.5 lbs to me! Nice catch anyways! emoToast

the only time I have caught a bass that puny looking was at lake gaston in Virginia. I caught a bass on cut bait that was tied to a stump with a big ol carolina rig with some 20 or 30 lb test. The hook was really rusty and I think it had been there for a long long time. That 65lb power pro made short work of getting that stump up.

The on;y downfall about the pond is I am only one allowed to fish it and I can only brign 1 person. Also it is a mile hike through a field in th eedge of the woods. The pond isn't that huge but I will have to give you all a report when I get them outta there.

emoEek 1 Mile HUH????? Well it seems to me Flip-a-roo thinks some of us would now pass knowing that the access is a bit of a challenge. He's right ... besides I don't want to infringe on a private pond where folks have it strictly regulated. If they were like .. yeah come on over ... then I still wouldn't go .. 1 miles is a long way when yer an old fat lady!!! :)

Anyway ... Heath .. enjoy fishing and get some of those gills outta there!!!!
