Squirrels.

Well after having a new baby last monday I have had my bird put up for a bit and was getting him back in shape to hunt more now that the squirrels seems to be moving more. I had him out back doing jumps to the glove and short fast flights with weights added. and then I tossed him up in a tree to call him out a few times and feed him when a nice big squirrel started rumming to the top of the tree and towards a den. He was right on the squirrel and got him just before he got to the hole. Nice confidence booster from a week off. Sorry no pics.

That's just awesome. I used to squirrel hunt with a bow, but that is flat-out awesome. I love reading your posts....

Guys the only reason I dont have a video yet is because its too hard for me by meself to look for squirrels, keep an eye on my bird and help him when he needs it, and most importantly look for holes as I fall in lol. If anyone does want to tag along you're welcome to.

I doubt anyone is knocking you for NOT having video. I'd be so captivated by the bird, I could give a squirrel's arse as to shooting video.

Man... that is just fascinating to me as well. Hey, ANY time you want someone to come shoot vid, I'm there. Spur can bring lunch and Billy can follow along like a squire!
I think about your posts everytime I see a hawk or Bird of Prey now.

Thanks man. I havent had much time lately to fly my bird with the new baby and have started hunting him up and down the neighborhood streets wiht some success just because its easy to walk out the front door and then get to educate some people as well. The next time I plan to go to the woods though I will let you know, and you can tag along.
