Last night my good friend and fishing partner's boat was broken into and the thief got away with all of our rods and several bait boxes. If anyone sees someone trying to sell bulk rods and reels at pawn shops or on Craigslist and such sights please let me know. We have filed a report with the police and are hoping to get our things back but we all know how that goes. I do not know the exact model of each item but here is a list of item descriptions:

2 TFO 7'3" MH
1 TFO 7'1" H
1 G Loomis 7'0 H
2 Fenwick Silverhawk 7'6" MH (One has red tape just below the bottom guide)
1 Wright & McGill Skeet Reese 6'8" M
1 13 Fishing Omen Black 7'11" H
1 Powell Max 7'1" Cranking rod
1 Abu Garcia Black Max 7'0" MH
1 Abu Garcia Villain 6'10" ML Spinning
1 Bass Pro rod 7'0 H
1 Berkley E-Motion 6'10" M
Reels:
2 Shimano Curdaos
1 Wright & McGill
3 13 Fishing Concept As
1 Lews Speed Spool
1 Quantum Smoke
1 Abu Garcia Pro Max
1 Abu Garcia REVO Premier Spinning
2 Abu Garcia REVO s

and several other rods and reels. I figure someone like that is going to try to sell them all in bulk, though I can name the rest of them if anyone sees anyone selling several of the rods named. Please PM me or call or text either Patrick at (865)-640-6012 or Dillon at (401)-545-0917 with any information. Unfortunately this ordeal will be cutting our college season short

Happened to me about three years ago and it makes you sick. I had just finished off my tackle the way I wanted it and bam gone. Never recovered. Hope you get it back. Sorry to hear this

Sorry for your lose I know how it feels I had all of mine stole in 2012 and just now getting all of my things back.. Hope you find your tackle ...................

I hate a dang thief, My cousin had the same thing happen to him and he actually filed a claim with his home owners insurance and everything was replaced. Good luck finding your gear and maybe you can find that POS.

I watched a show on tv (which makes me an expert) about stolen goods and apparently most of them leave the area very rapidly, a lot of times they leave the country immediately. I hate that this happened to ya, thieves will eventually get what's coming to em

The boat was parked in his back yard. The neighbors behind him have cameras and caught it on tape. Unfortunately you can't really make out the thief. Also he got away with everything on a BICYCLE.

Dang, he must be a talented fellow if he can garb up eleven rods and reels and then hold on to them while riding a bicycle! He needs to find and join a circus somewhere!

What are did the robbery take place? Hate to hear.

I think churly meant area but if he didn't, I'd like to know. Thieves generally work the same areas and if you live near there, nothing's safe till the SOB's are caught or shot. I don't and hope no one else looks at this as whining. It's a warning and if/when it happens to you, you'll understand the concept of feeling violated.

if he was on a bicycle i am willing to bet you he is within a couple of blocks of the house and possibly been by there casing the place a couple times it wouldn't hurt to start riding around and looking for that bike i bet you could find it laying in a yard close by.

Have definitely thought the same thing. For the guy that asked what area they live in its Highland Park downtown.
