Josh Wofford had all of his rods and reels stolen out of his boat last night! Wants anyone that possibly see them to call him! He said they were all left handed revos and a variety of Ross. 16 in all. Josh's number is 423-509-3494.

That sucks! Josh is a good guy and i'm sure had a lot of money in his equipment. I hope Josh personally can find the person that did this, in the meantime put word out at all the local pawn shops.

Where was his boat? Home? Etc? I hate a thief..... emoEnforce

That sucks!!!! He has been doing some remodeling and had his boat in his drive way. Someone must have known, it is usually kept locked in his garage. I hate a thief too. (Thief emoEnforce Jmax) Shoot first and ask questions later. emoAngry

It is sad, and the kids that use to get a paddling in school now get go to alternative school where they watch tv and play games, as long as the people running our country keep doing what there doing this will only get worse, they only stop when they know theyll get punished, right now they know theyll only get right back out of jail, and we have to put up with it, i say when theyre caught takem out on the town sqaure and leavem alive but very scarred and bloody

Probably someone on drugs, that can't even fish!!! They will sell them dirt cheap or pawn them just to get a fix. It doesn't matter that you worked your butt off to buy them. They have stolen mine twice. The bad thing is when they steal things that belonged to your Dad, which you never can replace, because of sentimental value. That's when it hurts the most. I hope You find them.

Economy and justice system combined. Both are gonna have to get better or this kinda crap will only get worse. Not much worse than a thief. Wish the parking lots where we park and fish had cameras. They probably would steal them or figure out how to avoid them. We had to hire security at Carters one year on Friday nights due to stuff being stolen. emoEnforce would only take a few times and this crap would stop. Pretty extreme but thats the only thing some of these low lifes understand. Don't think I could shoot someone in a parking lot or in my driveway but if they came in the house their shot if I catch them.

I know Josh but not well, dont know how to contact him. I am willing to let him come get a St. Croix rod and a reel but my reels are righty. Or I can let him have a spinning set up quantum energy reel not sure on the rod if you can let him know. I hate freakin thieves.

Eveyone who has property that might "grow legs and walk off" should consider purchasing one of those inexpensive driveway alert systems (about $20 at Harbor Freight). The system has an operating range of about 400 feet. A sensing device emits an infrared light beam up to 30 feet. The sensing device is installed beside the driveway or other access area. When the infrared light beam is broken by an intruder, a remote beeper that is within earshot of the owner, sounds the alarm. At that moment, the owner can use the weapon of choice to discourage a would be thief. I recommend a shotgun loaded with a shell containing rock salt.

I sure hate to hear that. I have saved and spent a fortune on what I have and cant imagine finding it gone. They'll probably turn up in a sleezy pawn shop somewhere and the thief will get about 1/4 what the rods and reels are worth. Some people refuse to work for anything when the rest of us work for everything. Really sorry Josh.

Hopefully he had good insurance that covers theft. That's something we all should be conscience of.
My homeowner's covers theft on contents on my boat, his may be covered and he might not realize it!
But yeah-linch the jerks when you can!!

I hate for Josh. I imagine now that he must realize that hind-sight is 20/20 and questions as to why he left them out.. I do the Flea markets thing, I will watch for Lefty Revos. A better description of several of the outfits would sure help in keeping watch for his stuff.
