This happened to me and my brother when we were about 10 and 11 years old. We were washing jugs for a penny a piece one day and when we would get thirsty we would just drink from one of the jugs we were washing. It didn't take long till both of us took a little nap and when I woke up my brother was gone. I noticed some drag marks along the creek that led up to a overhang up the holler and thats where I found my brother still sleeping. We never saw it but we found it's track and thats the closest I have ever come to seeing ole Slew-foot or as the younger generation calls it chupacabra. Oh he exists alright but in order to even come close to seeing him you have to drink from the magic jug.

Nope

Cool! We have pics of a wild hog that was hit by a car over off Ooltewah / Ringgold Rd. a few years back. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Dept. Catoosa County Sheriff and TWRA came out to see and take a few pics too. The officers told us about all kinds reports of Cougars {not the Lookout or Signal Mt. type}, Black Bears and Wild Hogs all up and down White Oak Mt. {in Tn.} or Taylor's Ridge {in Ga.} The Hog was estimated by TWRA at 200 / 220 lbs. and about a year old. I know that for several years many people have claimed to have seen and heard a Cougar over at Black Creek Golf Course there at the foot of Lookout Mt. too.

The new guy in town mountain lion meets ole standby E TN Bigfoot. That would be an epic matchup. Who wins? Hope there's at least a YouTube video of it when it happens.

No Proof to offer to anyone, however I have had run-ins with Mountain Lions in N Georgia several times, South Lookout Mtn and Pigeon Mtn has many. I had one following me for a half mile until I got back to camp in the pocket. I threw rocks at it to run it away so nuts in the camp would not try to shoot it. I think it wanted me to stay for diner in the woods.

I bet some of you guys sleep with your lights on! I can't get the picture of a grown man throwing rocks behind him as he walks out of the woods. I would pay good money to see that! Lol

Posting these photos per Earl's request and quoting his e-mail....
