Yellow Jackets swarming hard late in the year is a sign of an early, cold winter...so I've heard! I've heard an abnormally high number of people talking about yellow jackets the past few weeks. We're due a good cold winter with some snow, so I hope its true!

Al, I checked on the red wasps that you saw going into my BBQ grille, Isprayed wasp killer in the vent hole of the grille and they wanted to try and get out, I kept spraying them whenever one would come to the vent hole and they finally quit trying to get out. I finally opened the lid and there were around a hundred dead wasps and a nest around 4 inches in dia. You need to do the same with the yellow jackets.
