Here goes another week against a team from Alabama. Although it should be better score wise, Auburn has been playing some good ball. The running attack of Auburn is the best in the SEC and they have a very mobile quarterback. Auburn by 21 points.

DANG! I thought Aubrun was in West Georgia? I"ll be pulling for the Vols this weekend. I know Alburn will lose there last two but I'm hoping they lose there last three.

You actually want to say something about the teams that Auburn plays? Have you even looked at the Schedule that Bama has had? Even the announcers make fun of the schedule when they start talking about it. What almost 50th in toughest schedule? Ha Ha Ha.. Get real! Go UTC! They will be a goodin for Bammers! Next year they will schedule East Ridge! RTR! lol..lol..lol...

I hate to say it buy you're most likely right. What do you think about the Oregon game Thursday?

Tenn. just did not look like themselves this week, I wonder if this was midterm week. I expected more from them, but most of us don't realize they work two full time jobs as student, and student athlete as well, but so does the other team.

I think it will be close through the first half, but look for the Ducks to distance themselves in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I suspect that Oregon will remember last years game and hopefully play hard.

Yup, TN seems to be done. Auburn like most other SEC teams has too much speed and talent for the Vols. Put one more in the loss column for TN. Maybe playing at home and in Neyland will help them keep it close.

Oregon needs to win because that is who Bama needs to play in the NC game. I think Stanford has the talent to beat Oregon. The problem is if Oregon finds a weakness they score 21 points on seven or eight plays before a team can adjust! If I had to pick a team I would pick Oregon but I would not bet on it!

In 1990 Gene Stallings would use the entire game clock before each snap as to give his Defense as much time to rest as possible and to slow the game down. I would love to see a team try this.

I would be surprized if any one in the country can beat Alabama. They do not stand out as being great at any one thing, but the entire team can play and does. Whether it is Oregon or Florida St. they both are going to score alot of points. The thing that Alabama does isAlabama will contain a couple of possessions much like what they didagainst A&M and the "bama" offense will not be stopped. All Alabama needs is three more then anyone else. emoHoppingmad They also have a really good kicker!

I would be surprised if a schedule could be put together of teams in the ncaa that would be tough for the Tide? Unless we could count the A-day game.

I think Auburn beats TN by 21 then BAMA by 1. Saban leaves for Texas for $12 million. BAMA is caught AGAIN paying their (former) players and it all goes up in smoke in Tuscaloosa. BAMA goes through 4 coaches in five years AGAIN.

Every team in the country would love that wouldn't they? If you can't beat em, cover em with mud! The haters will hate and Bama will keep winning and grabbing all the 4 and 5 star players to stack the roster with. Roll Tide! emoProtest

Folks will never know how "Good" you are unless you have been tested. I think we all know that Bama hasn't played any teams (except A&M) with a winning record of quality teams. Yea you can play one or two a season and get by to the Championship Game but playing good teams week in and week out and "Prove" yourself and not just get by till you have to be tested at the end of the season. Remember last year? You have to understand that alot of folks don't Hate Bama, they just hate those folks who think they are more important because they are fans of Bama. I guess when they look at their lives it gives "THEM" hope that they will be winners just like their "Roll Tide"... Don't foget that you are no more special than anyone else because anyone can claim to be a Bama fan because folks prove everday that it don't take much to be one...lol..lol..lol... Oh and I could put together a Schedule to "Test" the Tide....

Would you amuse us with a schedule that would test THE TIDE? Yes a person can say he could make out a schedule to test THE TIDE but until they actually try to make one out will they realize just how difficult it really is. My guess , you will see that you can't.

Yes I remember last year how fortunate UG was to have an opportunity to choke at the end, and they did and they still have lingering effects of that game. The list of lingering effected teams goes something like this UF, Texas, LSU, UG ,ND........

Let's see ... Let's replace them "Might Tough Colorado St. Rams with.. Let's say Stanford or another Top 15 team.. We'll Replace "Ole Miss" (although they do have a winning record right now and have been the toughest team that Bama has played other than A&M) with someone from the "Tough Side of the Sec" like South Carolina... Let's go ahead and drop the State from Georgia and have Gurley play the game (Healthy)... Then say the mighty Wildcats of Kentucky replaced by the Tigers of Missouri (although no-one thought they would be this tough this season) after that maybe just maybe since the Arkansas Razorbacks are not much, let's throw Flordia in there (Oh wait they are from the "Other Side" also... So onto the UTC Mocs who also has a winning record but not in the same division,. let's go out there an take someone in at least the Top 15 LIKE Oregon, Baylor, Fla St.,Oklahoma or Oklahoma St. You will notice that I have not messed with Tennessee, Mississippi St. only because everone needs a little SEC help and Bama can use those games to "Tune Up" for Top 15 teams....You see it's really not that hard.. But the thing is that you have to play "Quality Teams" (or at least those who have winning records) week in and week out to be able to STAY Healthy and Compete on a "Top Level". Other teams in the SEC have to do it...I think it says alot when the Coach of a team has to get onto their fans to stay at the game because they are so bored with the quality of teams that they play that they just get up and leave... Oh and for the record.. I bet you were the one about to "Choke" when you thought Ga. might just win...lol..lol...

By my count looking at the "Quality" schedule this season.. I COUNT at least 7 "Cupcakes"! And yea, I am including Tennessee. But I am sure you see a whole different schedule than me...lol..lol.. Oh and I do see where they play Flordia next year.

Yeah schedule is so bad BAMA coach has to threaten fans to stay until the end of the game or they'll lose their seats. He's a powerful coach when he can decide who can come to games and who can't. Who here really likes Saban? Anyone?

Not really a hater, just enjoy keeping it fair and balanced. Plus, with TN playing this bad it's the only fun I can have this season.

If I understand the SEC schedules correctly, you are required to play the teams in your division. You rotate two from the other division every two years. Then you can have one team from the other division as an annual game that doesn't change. AKA Tn. vs. Al. or Ga. vs. Auburn. These schedules are set up years in advance so you don't know what program is going to be up or down. The non conference games are another thing. But in the past years some of the cupcakes that Alabama played were Clemson, Va. Tech. Michigan, Penn St. and Mich St. Then there are some other cupcakes that they play to pay for their opponents programs. For example, UTC has played in recent years teams like Neb. Fl. St. Auburn, Ok. Ohio St. and yes, Alabama to get a pay check. Otherwise they would not have a football team. Most of the time the smaller school has to have a very good relationship with the larger school just to get that money game.
