Here I go showing my ignorance. How is that one knot tied? How important is using that knot?
Momma got tired of trying to teach me to tie my shoes so she bought me penny loafers.

It's just a knot, any knot.. You select your best knot for the line you choose to use When I drew the example I had the Cosmos Loop or Non-slip Mono Loop in mind. The loops work best for me with a larger scale and a bead hole that will slide over the loop to help pin the hook secure when the weight is applied... Actually a tight knot on the hook will function to turn the hook out to the desired 90 Degrees better for most. Whatever you do, do not use that shoelace knot. Momma's Knot will ruin my rigs reputation. LOL</p>
