The Nuke Bass Bite

Sounds like the great live bait bite for bass is over for the year. Went this morning... Only caught 1 small spotted bass and had only one more hit. </p>

The threadfin were easy to come by... Catching up to 30 in one cast. Released all the threadfin after using up about 5-6 in an hour.</p>

So, my question is... Is this bite gonna come back this year or not come back until next late May? I hear this is just a post-spawn pattern.</p>

Well, looks like it is back to going to Parksville again! </p>

Ditto for the catfish bite. 2 years ago you would catch several on each drift if you were there at the right time. That is not that common anymore, athough it is still better there than in some other places. that place takes a beating.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, i do more than my fair share of fishing there too. i'm definitely not innocent, but do release everything.
