Started the day off running to the marinas. First stop we fished around the slips for about 10 minutes before getting our first bite. I hooked up on a 4lber throwing a shakeyhead worm but couldnt get her to the boat. So we kept fishing around and I hear Alan holler, GET THE NET. We get it in the boat and it's an 8lber. This has both of us shaking... We fished around for another hour with no more bites so we decided to run back to chester. Started fishing the docks and I hear GET THE NET again. He gets it to the boat and its almost a 7lber. We fished around the docks and catch a couple more small fish. Everthing we kept was caught on a 3/8 ounce jig around deep docks. Last night was a proud pappa moment and it lit a fire in Alan that he is loving fishing again. We took 1st place and big fish.
