this was a great tournament and even though i froze to death im glad we were able to fish it. im def. going to try and make it back to yalls next one in feb. congrats to dixieboy with 19+...thats some big crappie

Had a great time fishing. Me and Bamabass just about froze to death. we blasted off at 6:40am and with the fog and 15 degree weather we didn't arrive to our fishing hole till 8:00am. We fished till 11:00 am and headed back to the ramp. Out of the three hours fished we caught approx. 20 to 30 crappie. We tried to keep our biggest ones and thought we had a pretty good shot. We finished up in 2nd place with 18.5lb. Our fish was caught on minnows and jigs. Any color jig seemed to produce as for the minnows. We fished 24ft. of water and the water temp was 54 degrees. All in all we had a blast. Can't wait till the next one. We aren't going to be so easy on ol Dixie boy. HA HA. Nah Dixie boy had some great fish and congrats to him on the win.
