Triton by far, take in to consideration what kind of electronics and stuff you want too. The boat and motor makes the biggest difference when buying, but dont overlook all the smaller things that will eventually make a big difference. I have a tr-18 w/ a 150 and I love it, the design of the tritons is great but they do tend to "walk" a little due to the placement of the fuel tank. You'll figure out how to make that go away, dont forget the design of the tritons make these boats pretty quick. The hole shot and steering are also great with a triton. Also consider the fuel capacity. Im not sure about the pro-craft, but everyone I know that has a stratos doesnt like the speed at all. Stratos seem to be good boats, but I know quite a few people who just simply arent happy with them. Good luck and hopefully you'll make the right decision.

get the most bang for your buck , all will get you access to the lake ,ive never owned any of the 3 ,but fishrd in them ,i recall likeing the stratos the best ,because it was comfrontable ,roomy , i do own a yamaha 250 and its a strong motor , you make the call and as long as your fishin youll be happy.

Minner the last time I checked OMC made Javelin boats, just for the record of course. emoPoke

Genmar owns(ed) Javelin and Stratos. They bought out the boat manufacturing part of OMC in 2001. Some of the Stratos boats are still Javelin molds, the Stratos 285 and the 200 ProXL come to mind.

Bombardier actually bought the motor part of OMC Evinrude, Johnson, etc. ;)

(Don't read this wrong, I mean nothing by it, I just boat shopped for what seemed like a gazzillion years and did a lot of research.)

I think I'm going for this one .
2004 STRATOS 195 Pro XL 2004 STRATOS 195 Pro XL, 200 VMax Yamaha w warranty till 11/25/07. Hotfoot, jackplate, pro trim, headlights, blacklight plugs, keel guard, MG 71 TM, 3 bank charger, X-51 in dash, X-87 in bow, pumpout, hyd steering, disc brakes, spare, alum wheels. I owner boat sold new by C&O.
Price: $20,000.00

I have only heard great things about the 195's. I have a 200 XL and I wouldn't trade it for any other boat made at this point. I have had several different brands of boats in the last two years and to me the Stratos seems like the best compromise of anyone out there.
