Where is the best place to get them? Do yall think 2 24 series batteries will have enough juice for a day of fishing with an 80 lb thrust 24 volt terrova with ipilot link?

I have the same trolling motor but I have 31 size batteries and have never used more than 1 light on the battery checker. It should last for a day or close to it.

I have a 75lb Motor Guide with two batteries for 24 volts. Once over the summer I fished a tournament till 2. I went from there to HBSP and took a nap in the truck and fished the night tournament there. My batteries were still going hard.

The 27 or 31 series batteries are a better way to go if you can afford them. They have a higher reserve capacity and will not drain down as far each day. This will allow them to last longer. I have 3 31 series for my 101 and they are going strong after 3 years.

I run the Everstart group 29, with an 80# Minn Kota maxxun. That is the biggest that fits in my battery compartment. Never ran out of juice, even running the trolling motor all day. Using low power, up to 40, a full day will drop to two lights on the charger after an hour or so of charging. Running on 20-30 for a half day, recharge is about 30 minutes.

thanks guys. I went with 2 27 series batteries from walmart.

you should have pretty good luck with those batteries. I have used them for my TM for the past 10years and get an average of 2.5 to 3 years of use out of them.
