What I was wanting to know
is if anyone has used one, and what do they think about it. The reason I am looking at one is because they will link to the Lowrance units.
I have been using one for about two years. I really like it a lot. The anchor feature is absolutely great and the ability to record a favorite bank and then let it guide for you is something else. There is a learning curve or was for me. I don't like the foot control, it is to sensitive for me. I would buy another xi5 if I needed to.
I have not linked mine to the lowrance yet,but there are more tracking advantages when they are linked together.
Hi everyone, I stepped in to ask you folks something. Has anyone tried comparing Xi5 trolling motor with Minnkota? I have very little experience in trolling motors, so any help and reccomendations are highly appreciated!

Nevermind, last night I picked Minnkota EO 36'' - used yet in good condition. feel free to contact me back by next weekend if someone whnts to know how this motor looks and works....
