For 40 years bass fishermen have considered it taboo to keep and eat ANY smallmouth bass caught in Chattanooga-area waters. But if a new regulation passes, that might change. TWRA's proposed new regulation will basically be encouraging anglers to keep and eat more smallmouth and spotted bass. Thanks for the article and if you read it make s sense to the changes in regulations. My son worked and studied at Auburn and obtained a degree in fisheries and is now working on a Masters at UGA and alot of his study was on Shoal Bass in the Flint River and they are seeing the same situations from spotted bass and our native shoal bass. Thanks again for the article.
