It seems strange to hear complaints about tournaments when we voluntarily sign up to fish them ... and this goes for all of them. Don't like the rules? Don't fish. Don't like the competition? Don't fish. Don't like the venue? Don't fish. Don't like the date? Don't fish.

I use to fish a lot of different tournaments and it dawned on me that there were dislikes involved with most. I'll fish against anyone, any day of the week, but what's the point sometimes? No one has held a gun to our heads and told us to fish "or else." CFF/Family Trads TXs are the only ones I care to fish anymore 'cause I'd rather fish WITH friends than against the rest.

Whats up with the livewell checks???? Never understood this, has anybody ever heard of someone having fish in their well when checked? Is anybody stupid enough to show up at a tournament like that? Hhhhmmmm.... nevermind.

I am the person that won the last tx out of grasshoper sat night and I can tell you that I would not cheat to win any thing . I have been fishing tx out of grasshopper on friday night for over 10 years it took me over 4 years to win my first tx. Most tx I fish wont pay gas even if you win. I am sorry anybody thinks we did any thing wrong. As for the fish there was only one fish that I saw floating I ask if anybody had a needle and new how to bleed the air out. nobody said anything . I hate it when the fish are floating just like any one . but I am not comfortable with using a needle. may do more harm than good these fish where feeding at 5 ft and yes they were coming up from 30ft I do all I can to keep my fish in go shape. I am happy to have my live well checked at any time . most of my fishing is just dumb luck . if they don't want me to fish just let me know I live in soddy daisy and its just 3 min from salecreek on the water or 1 hour on land. I don't want to make anybody mad we just want to fish and have fun its not about the money if it was I would just stay at work.

shortfish it was a pleasure to fish with u that was my first tx that i have ever fished so thats why i asked that question i would do the same if i was 3 min on the water then a hr drive i hope to see you back out there when my boat is fixed, maybe u can show a rookie how to fish lol......hey jmax i have no clue what ur talking about lol

Shorfish great win and congrats! It's easy for someone to walk away wonderin' when they haven't done it before and didn't win. You just have to consider who is asking and tx newbies can be a goofy bunch. Sounds as though you did everything right and should be commended for it. Admire the fact that you chimed in and glad you did. Good luck in the next one and hope you slay 'em!
