Upper Nickajack 3/24/07

Me and Scott went out today. Not alot going on where we went. There was no current all. Period nothing. The pollen that was floating on top wasn't even moving in middle of the river. I finally got one around 2 pounds in 58 degree water around 2 feet deep on a gotsta fish tackle co. vibrashock blade. We tried some other areas where the water was warming up to between 60 and 66 degrees. Scott got the next one. He snagged atleast a 5 or 6 pound catfish right in middle of the back. We ended up with a couple more dinks on various lures. We threw a few things. Crankbaits, Tr19 custom crank, gotsta fish vibrashock blades, spinnerbaits, jigs, and some topwaters. If the current was running it would have been alot better. Water was really stained and muddy on the river today. Overall just a nice day to be regardless.
