Visiting Guntersville

Hello all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an avid tournament bass fisherman from Upstate NY (the country part of NY... not the city!).

I'm planning on attending the Classic in February and wondering how reasonable it might be to find fellow fishing fans who plan to spectate from the water in their boat? I'd love to find someone who plans to be on the water and happy to pay expenses/gas etc if they'd let me join them to spectate.

I'd also be willing to "trade a trip" if anyone is ever planning on visiting upstate NY. I recently was fortunate to win the BASS Northern Open on Oneida and know the waters up this way pretty well.

Welcome. Great group of guys/gals here with lots of knowledge. Congrats on your recent win! Good luck finding a spectating partner. Might also try bbcboards.net I'm gonna try to attend the classic also but don't plan on taking the boat.

Welcome aboard. I used to go to upstate New York every summer to visit family in Vestal. We would spend a day or two there and go to Owasco lake and stay a week in the cottage my grandpa used to own. Very beautiful country side up there and awesome smallmouth fishing.
