walleye on the chick

has anyone been catching any walleye on ledges here recently a buddy of mine went out yesterday and caught a 18 inch and a 17 inch walleye while fishing a ledge just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same.

The Chick was stocked with about 900,000 about two years ago

any idea what the growth rate is on a walleye cast4bass just wondering if this could be a 2 year old then i am thinking about going out with some minnows and a drop shot to see if i can catch some there supposed to be really good to eat.

I caught one a couple weeks ago on a 10xd. It was barely larger than the plug. First time I have ever caught one.

I haven't heard of any one catching on the chick ledges but I do have a few friends that fish for and catch them up the hiwassee. Nothing like a walleye filet between 2 pieces of white bread. Best eating fresh water fish I've had.

They are good eating. I am trying to figure them out locally. I caught my first keeper on Normandy last weekend, 21". I usually fish the Caney below Center Hill for them and catch a bunch of shorts but no keepers. If they are growing to keeper size on Chick it might be worth fishing for them.

about 10 years ago I caught about a 6 pound Walleye. Crazy
