I agree 100% I would rather run Weiss the way it is now, 6ft down vs 3-4. The reason being with it being 3-4 down the trees and stumps are just inches under the water vs being visible. And your right there's plenty to see and learn with it being 6ft down. I fish down there a couple times a month and love it

Weiss terrifies me, even when it is up. Ran with a nav chip there over the summer and didn't like the way the water was breaking about fifty yards ahead. Turns out it was only a little over a foot deep when my nav chip had it at five to ten feet deep when I came to a stop. Glad I had already shut the motor down. Spending time on Lanier marking areas right now for when the lake comes back up. Already have some timber tops that are revealing themselves that I had no idea were there.
