So, we see the grass quickly disappearing, and I have never really fished this time of year. Looking for some pointers on what patterns we will go to after the frog bite is over. We fished Nick Saturday and had 18 fish with 4 in the 3-5 lb range. Just don’t think there will be much grass by this weekend and searching.

We caught good fish at these places this past weekend right out and up from Richland and Muddy creek just beating it with frogs all day. Outter pad edges in morning and evening and deeper into the pads from afternoon to mid-day. Used River2Sea BullyWa’s 65mm of black, white, and the one with orange belly which they couldn’t stay off of. Those frogs have awesome hooks that stay sharp and it casts a mile. Hope this helps.

We should have grass for another couple weeks unless something crazy happens. Once it starts to disappear on the surface thats when you rip traps through it or throw topwater over the top of it,
