I'm looking forward to it - it's killing me not being able to get down there the past couple weekends. Great to see all the reports and looks like things are still inconsistent due to the weather and all the fronts coming through. My thoughts right now are to try to find staging fish and stay away from all the hooplah in Mud and some of the other creeks (of course you know how all that can change on the big day depending on how things are going - hopefully be able to put something together and not go in to panic modeemoDoh ). I think there will be some fish up snooping around spawning grounds, some fish close, and some fish still out in deeper water waiting for things to stabilize and warm up. Still have to remember not all the fish move up at the same time, some will spawn a month later than the first wave of spawners. Definitely agree on finding the gizzard shad, a couple weeks ago the best spots I found had gizzards around them - I even managed to somehow snag one through the back on a jig, the thing had to have been pushing 2 pounds - biggest gizzard I've ever seen.

Can't wait until this weekend and look forward to meeting y'all.
