Thanks to all those that took time to answered my question. I asked it because I am thinking about going somewhere fishing to celebrate my 70th and warned wondering where others would go. Again thanks.

I would highly recommend bon secour alabama. the river has a beautiful scenery. you can rent a kayak and float down its very peaceful and not much boat traffic. took my nephew fishing there last year. caught 30 plus bass before noon then went bream fishing up river and caught 2 limits of hand sized blue gill in about 3 hours. after lunch we went and caught reds at the mouth of oyster bay. Tons of good fishing. guys we talked to at the ramp that day had a cooler full of speckled trout.
