What Ted Nugent Would Say to Barack Obama

He's over-the -top alright. I read his book, "God, Guns, and Rock and Roll" and it was a great read! He's just another very patriotic Michigan Red Neck. Very witty!

Thats a cool interview

I agree with some of his politics but not his hunting methods. This my just my opinion, setting over corn piles
and inside a fence is killing not hunting! What does it teach the younguns? The true woodsmen are fading fast!

in wisconsin and michigan you can hunt over bait and allways have. Its just normal and most people do it there.Frankly i think it sucks that it is not allowed here in tn.It is a rush hunting over bait,it brings them in close and personal and more often. and when you have a lot of does coming during the rut you know darn whell what will show up,papa. So dont judge him he is from up north like me and has been hunting over bait since day one.Its what we do,among other styles of hunting.

I agree, if it's legal then have at it. It's just like running dogs down here in Ga. A lot of the guys in South Ga have run dogs their whole lives. Thats the only way they know to hunt. I dont like it and I dont really agree with it, but its all legal so to each his own. I dont encourage hunting over bait where its illegal, but if its legal in the state you hunt in, why not?

First of all when I say it's my opinion thats what it is. As far as judging anyone I'm no judge thats why I said ONLY my opinion. Has my opinion changed? No! There is plenty of bait piles everywhere you look be it acrons, row crops, browse, food plots and the other 1000 kinds of food deer eat. If you, Ole Ted,or any other wants to hunt over feeders or corn scattered on the ground it's no buisness of mine. I personally get more satisfaction in finding the deer or Turkeys than luring them to me with bait. I realize in Texas baiting is a way to control the herd because of the landscape. As far as legalizing baiting in Tennessee I don't believe it will increase the corn piles very much or will it change the way I hunt.

I wasnt firing a remark at you F4TP, I was simply stating my own personal opinion as well. Some think it is unethical to shoot over 200 yds with a rifle. Some think neck and head shots are unethical. Thats why I said to each his own. Laws are laws, and if something is legal somewhere then I have no problem with someone performing the action, whether I agree with it or not. I do not, and have never, and never plan to hunt over any kind of "bait" other than the natural forms that you mentioned. But I also dont judge anyone from somewhere else who is following the rules and regs of their respective state. Again, to each his own. But to say that what he is doing is unethical and teaching the youngsters wrong things....what if thats they way they have known to hunt for their entire lives? Yes it is the complete opposite of the way I was raised and the way I want my kids to pursue the outdoors, but it has been legal in other states for years and years. That doesnt neccessarily make it right or wrong. But if Billy Bob is set up on the other side of your property line with 100 lbs of yeller acorns on the ground and what he is doing is perfectly legal, how else are you going to get the deer to hold on your property and walk by your tree? This is also simply my own personal opinion, and I know others feel differently, but if its legal, its legal...if its not, its not. Again, I am not encouraging baiting or any other illegal activities in the woods, as I SERIOUSLY FROWN UPON THEM, but they hunt in different places with different rules than you and I are accustomed to

What baiting will do is make your dear move less, and when they do feed it will be at night, especially your mature bucks. Not that they don't feed at night I know they are nocternal, but anyway thats what I hear. Food plots best way to go in my opinion. If it does not grow there, it does not belong there. As a friend once said, a person should hunt the way they want to. Made alot of scince. So, I am not going to judge.

What I would say to Obama is this, do away with all gun laws, and issue M-16's to everyone living in the USA 18 and older. Then make it a requirement that they have to carry it with them every where they go. That would put an end to the NRA, Solve 50% of your problems with the far right. Then make it a law everyone has to join and go to church somewhere, or you cannot vote or run for office. There is your other 50%. No really, I think a good common since gun law would be to do what we have done here with hunter education, we could pass a law that anyone born after lets say 1990 has to take a saftey course of some kind before puchasing any type of firearm. 20 years down the road alot of the sinceless problems we have with guns would be cut out. I do not think even the NRA would have a problem with that.

A common SENSE approach would be to enforce the thousands of gun laws that are already on the books. To quit slapping convicted felons on the wrist and letting them out on early parole and giving conjugal visits to them while they are in. Take away 90% of the appeals for capitol punishment. NO NEW GUN LAW WILL SOLVE ANY GUN CRIME! Criminals don't care about laws. Never have, never will.
Common SENSE should show these politicians that new gun laws are not the answer.
To the gun control advocates it is not about gun violence it is about total control. Gun violence is just what they use to scare the ignorant folks into voting for them.

Wow! Cheeze I never took you for a gun control advocate, there are many gun control laws I don't like. Everytime I travel, I break the law. I don't think it makes me a criminal. My post was intended for education and gun safety. If I am wrong then maybe hunter safety courses should be done away with. Am I hearing you right when I say, that you are for no gun control, or for more. I also think people should get a license before they drive as well. I like speed limits, don't like people who drive in the left lane not doing the speed limit, and really hate people who wait to the last minute to merge, when a lane is closed after I have been in the slow lane for a while. A driver license, does not stop those people, but I sure do feel more comfortable knowing you have to have one before you drive.

No possum your post was a gig against Christians,Republicans and the NRA with a splash of gun safety speak. We have laws that say we cannot carry guns without a LICENSE. We have laws that say we cannot PURCHASE firearms without a background check. We have laws that say we cannot POSESS guns if we have commited crimes of domestic violence. There are laws that say we cannot buy nior posess firearms if we have been convicted of any felony. We have laws that say we cannot posess guns if we have been diagnosed with any mental deficiencies. We have laws that say we connot posess guns if we are not US citizens. There are laws in place in EVERY state that say we must have a license to hunt which includes hunter safety courses. We need NO MORE LAWS. We simply need teeth in the laws already on the books.

Cheez I am sorry you took it that way, I am not an atheist, democrate, have been a member of the NRA. Sometimes I think people do take their agendas to far, that was the gig. I know you are a good man. I have the 250 garmin to prove it.
