Good photoshop work!

True story - while in Mexico we were on a small cruise ship - 110 feet, 16 passengers. One day we spotted a pod of killer whales and thye were playfull - came right up to the ship. The crew loaded us into the "skiff" a 25 foot Zodiac type boat, and went out amoungst them. I was sitting on the side of the boat about a foot above the water line and a killer whale probably 30 feet long came us so close that when it blew it soaked my back. If I had been a little quicker I could have touched it.

All I could think about were the pictures I had seen on National Geographic showing a killer whale coming out of the water to grab a seal and toss it around like a rag. I figure I am about the size of a seal!

The picture shows one of the orcas near us in the skiff with the ship, the Safari Quest, in the background.

On another day we went out in small boats where the gray whales had their calves and they came up right at the boat - we were able to "pet" them. I actually touched two.

On that trip I petted a gray whale and got blown by an Orca!

With that boat leaning that way Ronnie while the kids are reaching out to touch those whales... I'd have wet myself when the boat leaned that far! The boat in the background is big enough for me! Nice shot and great memories I'm sure.
