Dang, it must have just happened then because I saw the signs out that still said Ethanol free and I filled my vehicle up Sunday at Smile and they were still ethanol free. Don't you just love our government!! emoBang

I work in the gasoline industry, it is going to get harder and harder to find ethonol free gas, one of the main terminals in chatt that was one of the only ethonol free terminals sold a few weeks ago. Most of your Chevrons are going to be ethonol free and a few of the independantly owned mom and pop stores and Indian owned stores will remain ethonol free, but not for long,

Check this out... enjoy it while it lasts....

The problem with sites like this one, while well intentioned, is that it is virtually impossible to keep them up to date as fast as these things change. For example, the Shell listed on Hwy 58 as being ethanol free has not been so for at least 6 months.

I was just told tonight at the exxon on 58 that used to be ethanol free, that it is mandatory to switch over to 10% ethanol for all stations nation wide . Get ready for 15% ehtanol this summer and say good bye to your motor if you use it unless its a four stroke.

Checked tonight and the Texaco on Ringold road off exit 1 still says ethanol free on their bulletin board. I figured it was only a matter of time before it all came to an end...

If you are in or around Guntersville, Waterfront Grocery has 100%, as does the Chevron on Hwy 279 just north of Goosepond.

Elder's Market Conoco on hwy 58 is still 100% gas. He says it is up to the station owner whether or not they sell ethanol. He refuses to cave in.

I went to the Orbit Station in Cleveland today. They have started selling ethanol gas now. :(

2 stations on green pond road in Soddy are 0% the new one is a Spirit brand, the Spirit store on Dayton Blvd and Gadd rd. is 0 % too.
Our crooked polititions have voted to push 15% Ethanol on us so we burn more gallons and they make billions more $ and it causes food prices to continue to climb higher, leaving everyone more broke and destroying everyones engines and like everything else they have crammed down our throats in the last few years they don't care what we want!!
please support all stations that fight to sell 0% it is our only hope until we have to just use our trolling motors!

I don't know if it's been mentioned in previous threads but I think these gas stations are realizing they can charge more for pure gas!

Today I stopped at the gas station on the corner of Shallowford and Hickory Valley Rd. They have pure gas for 3.02/ gallon and 10% corn for 2.97! Each pump had 87 octane pure, 87 octane corn, and 93 octane corn.
