Who plans to fishh CFF #1?

I will guess the HBSP.Chester Frost is out. There is a large High School tournament going out of Chester and they already have Chester Park reserved. I guess it could be out of Dam Sight Park but that will be a cold ride up river.
Does this mean that CFP is closed to the public if reserved? I'd want to launch there and motor over to HBSP for the tx. Also, How do I join CFF- At the ramp with $10?
CFP is a public boat ramp, I can't believe any TX can prevent it's use by their people only. As for payment, the entry fee for the first CFF is $60.00 per boat whether you're alone or there are two people fishing in the boat. After the first one, the fee is $40.00 per boat.
You must also have a printed and signed waiver form and proof of boat insurance to present at the sign in.

You can still launch there and boat over. The reason the Parks Service does that is to keep multiple tournaments from being on top of each other there. So they allow one tournament at a time only. It is a first come first serve program and you call the Ranger Station there at the park to reserve the day you plan to have your tournament. A smaller tournament does not really have an issue allowing another tournament to launch out of there with them but my understanding is that it is the call of the one who reserved it to allow another.

I figured they can't prevent the general public from access to public waterway. I just didn't know someone (tx organization), could reserve the parking lot. Anyway. I will plan to motor over to HB for the first CFF. Loading back out at CFP will surely be another issue, lol.

You'd think I would be fishing with Chris...but I didn't think he had planned on fishing it since we haven't fished them in years. I am actually going to fish them with my 11y.o. son this go round.
well my partner from last year decided to buy his own boat ( good for him) so i have picked up a new partner this year, a friend of mine has a 13yr old son Zane. that wants to learn ( i don't know why he asked me ) so i am going to try to teach him a few things and have some fun doing it ..we are going to have a blast.
