Im going to have to start using them cause i keep breaking guides. Im not sure what kind to get or what is a good price. Any help would be great.

4.99 to 6.99, dont pay more than that. They are great! If you step on the you will still break guides but keeps the rods from getting tangled around each other in the line

I got my stick jackets at Sportsman and really do like them - just to keep from tangling up with each other.

You can make your own Stik Jacket style for alot less. Go to Grainger and get a roll expandable webbing, cut to size, heat the ends to keep from fraying.

But I prefer the webbing style over the plastic cloth ones. They just seem to work better to me.

I first bought some from eztroll. They worked great on my St Croix rods. Went to Ducketts and had to go ro stick jackets. They have a tag on the end and if you have micro guides that is a must to keep the rod from pushing through.

Good tip Skeeter. I just put mine in the rod locker or on the deck and hope for the best. LOL

I started using the BPS ones a couple of years ago. I Love them. It keeps them from tangling and if your locker is like mine you have to thread the rods into it and the eyes catch pretty bad.

I ordered some this morning from tackle warehouse this morning for $5.24. They were all one color but i didnt mind for that price and they had the strap for the reel.
