for verizon , ATT and alltell cellular wireless web it is a violation of the tos BUT unless you tell them what you are doing
its very hard for them to find out that you are doing it. digital if you know how to tweak on the linksys you can set up
the regular routers to be an access point and only spend about 50-75 for the router. you have to enable ics (internet connection sharing) on the host and disable all but the wireless function on the router. i have set up several this way
and they work pretty good

Thanks a lot. I needed to know that. No cable no dsl where I live. ATT Edge card is my only access.

I have a brand new in-the-box Linksys WRTP54G (with VOIP capability) I'm going to set it up. I may have to pm you for some pointers if that's ok?
