Worth trying tomorrow?

Welcome to our world. Chickamauga the yoyo lake of the Tn.river system. This lake can be hot, cold, up, down, clear and muddy all at the same time. Less not forget the wind. You just have to spend time on the water. I got on the water about 9:30 and first stop shad every where but not a bite. Second stop no as shad no bite. Then about 1:30 in another area I threw about everything wind layed sawsigns of fish movement and picked up a blade bait. 4 cast 3 fish and proceeded to put 11 in the boat. So you never no what is going to happen on this lake.

Dang it can be that picky around here huh? Do they eat chatterbaits pretty good down here? That's one I've never fooled with much.

Yes, chatter baits can be a good bait on the Chick. Usually on the Chick you look for the shad schools. Normally if you find shad the bass are not too far. Sometimes they are under them, in them or near an area they are working. Find shad in shallow water near deep water around shad schools where the water is warmer then most areas and that may be the mother load. Slow way down, think of a dying shad and how it moves.
