That is pretty childish. I work on both and can say mercurys keep me busy. But they are the ones I favor. But I don't put down someone elses engine because I like mercury. </p>

This thread was not on which is better..........To put in here and say that someone needs to get a mercury because they have a OMC with a issue. That is something you would do in school. I like mercs myself and can do ALOT more to a merc than I can a OMC because of design. As far as EFI....... ask TR20BH which is more responsive and powerfull .....the 240 EFI engine we took off or the modified 200 carb engine I just built.

There is a time and place for that discussion. How would you feel if every post you did with a Merc with a issue, someone came back, off topic, and say, "Need to get a OMC!!!!"

Yes, that is your opinion but to me that was just disrespectful. Would be different if he ask a opinion about it.

Must be nice to have more money than sense.......... Most of these guys have very simple and cheap repairs. Not everyone can afford to run out and spend $300 for someone to tell them it was a $14 bulb. I have helped many people on here save money. That is why the thread is tittled "WRECHIN2 ?" not "What you think about my OMC poboy?"
